An Appeal for Guide Dogs

Sponsored Parachute Jump  –

We all know that a dog is a man’s best friend.

Single people living with a dog live longer than those who don’t have a pet.

Dogs are increasingly used with people recovering from illnesses.

Dogs are considered to be capable of tell which people have cancer.

Dogs are used to assist people who are hard of hearing.

And for some time now, dogs have been used to help the partially sighted.

What we don’t know is :-

Every hour, someone in the UK starts to lose their sight.

It costs £55,000 for a Guide dog, from birth to retirement. But they bring untold benefits to the partially sighted. If you know a partially sighted person, who has a dog, you’ll appreciate how much they help and how they become a part of the family.

Bill has felt so strongly about this over the years (and he’s a dog lover) that he’s trying to raise money for the charity.  Indeed, he would like to raise the cost of just ONE dog – £55,000.

To do that he’s doing a Sky Jump ! @ Hinton in the Hedges, Brackley, Northants. please support him.

Yes, it’s very ambitious, but He’s sure that you can imagine what that would mean to the recipient. So please try and help him – or even join him on Saturday 16th September 2017.
