Plans are progressing apace for next week’s Beer Festival, returning to Arnold House, at the end of Elsee Road, across Church Walk, just behind The Merchants Inn.
The bar, seen in the picture, with Bill Bussey pulling a pint for a thirsty customer, is constructed during the week leading up to the Festival, and the beer casks put into place by the Volunteer Members of Rugby CAMRA.
34 Real Ales are being ordered, across the UK, including two each Liverpool & two from Thame. Alongside old favourites will be a number of new beers, and, assuming we can get it, the Champion Beer of Britain, Goats Milk from Church End near Atherstone.
The Festival will be open on Friday 2pm – 11pm, and Saturday 11am – 11pm.
